The COVID-19 pandemic is one of the health crises with the greatest impact on everyone’s lives, it has transformed the way we interact and forces us to rethink the way we inhabit space.

We live consequences of unfortunate losses from which we will not recover and others that will require a great effort to recover. Despite this, it is possible to find an opportunity within the pandemic where we find the possibility of reinventing our way of living, interacting and working.
The workplace will be one of the first spaces to change dramatically. Modifications in the way of working as remote work, virtual encounters, social distancing and security measures will be reflected in this new normal in a way that merges comfortable and innovative spaces in a healthy environment.

The new era of adaptive reuse no longer involves renovating traditional historic properties, but also turning disused offices into better located, equipped and accessible homes.
The deconstruction and reuse of existing buildings will be necessary to take advantage of the infrastructure created but obsolete due to the new social dynamics. Microenvironments capable of being organized comfortably.
In the immediate future we will see that physical offices will be more than a strict workplace. The adaptation is aimed at creating a fresh new design inspired by nature.
